Traditionally, capturing a screenshot of a PC desktop involved hitting the "Print Screen" button on the computer keyboard, opening an image editing program such as IrfanView or Adobe Photoshop, and pasting the screen capture into the software.

Only then could the image be cropped or resized before being saved. The freeware screenshot application Neoshooter speeds up this process, allowing for quick screen capturing, resizing and saving in a single button press on the Windows operating system.

Developed by Simon Hudson, the program was released as freeware, and Neoshooter is free to download. This graphics capturing tool may be small in size, but Neoshooter vastly improves upon the PC native screen capture function.
